MY STORY
I'm Dan Caren and I am a professional actor and acting coach.
I have always wanted to be an actor. Since I was 10 years old that has been my dream and I am still working hard to achieve all that I want to in this world.
I studied Drama at Queen Mary's College and then went on to be awarded a scholarship at Arts Ed in West London, where I attained my degree in Acting.
Whilst training, I fell in love with sharing my experience and knowledge with young people. I started teaching at West London Drama Training, a theatre school for young people, when I was 19, where I am now the Principal.
I was fortunate to work for a high profile casting director during my twenties and am currently working at a boutique talent agency as an agent, helping to nurture and guide actors careers.
I have been and continue to be involved with the leading London drama schools like Central, LAMDA and Arts Ed where I have helped with auditions, graduating students and finding actors good agents.
As an actor I have appeared in feature films and award winning television shows and I have had the privilege of acting alongside BAFTA and Emmy Award winners.
MY SESSIONS
I offer a range of sessions tailored to your needs, ranging from our ten week courses at Arts Ed in Chiswick to one off self-tape sessions. I offer drama school audition coaching and casting preparation. I am happy to help you dip your toe into the acting word or to hone your craft. I have run confidence building classes ranging from wedding speeches and helping children with school play try outs. We can work at your place or at my home or over Zoom, wherever you feel most comfortable.

MY COACHING STORY
I have been teaching actors, young and old for over 15 years. Working with casting directors and talent agencies has given me a unique perspective unlike most acting coaches.
I have coached soap stars, pop stars, models, drama school hopefuls and established professional actors as well as complete beginners.
I am Head Of Acting for West London Drama Training and I regularly work with Linden Staub modelling agency to develop their clients. I have also run workshops for a homelessness charity. I enjoy seeing actors succeed and people grow. This is why I love to coach.
