Perfomance Technique - 12 PLACES
Master the art of acting with proven techniques from legendary practitioners - Stanislavski, Adler, Meisner, and Strasberg.
Our course is designed to help you strip back the text and approach your characters with depth and intrigue, making the words your own. You will learn to use Stanislavski's method for approaching text and character, while also exploring activities from Adler, repetition from Meisner, and emotional memory from Strasberg.
Experience a fun and focused mix of improvisation and script work, guided by our experienced instructors. The course culminates with a casting director coming to watch what you've been working on and answer any questions you might have.

PRACTICAL ACTING COURSES
Our ten week courses will take place at the prestigious Arts Ed Drama School in Chiswick, allowing you to immerse yourself in the world of acting in a world-class setting. Arts Ed is conveniently located in West London, a 4 minute walk from Turnham Green, which is zone 2 on the District Line tube.

HOW LONG ARE THE CLASSES?
Each class is 2 hours long - from 18:30-20:30 So we ask all participants to be prompt with their arrival.
DO YOU HAVE TO BE A PROFESSIONAL ACTOR TO ATTEND?
Practical Acting is geared towards everyone that wants to work on performance. There is generally a mix of expereinces in the room.
WHO TEACHES THE CLASS?
Dan Caren. Dan works as an agent at a boutique talent agency representing actors in television, film and theatre. He has been teaching for 20 years whilst working as an actor.
Dan received his BA (Hons) in Acting from Arts Ed, London.
HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE ON MY COURSE?
The course runs with a maximum of 12 people.
