Master the art of acting with proven techniques from legendary practitioners - Stanislavski, Adler, Meisner, and Strasberg.
Our course is designed to help you strip back the text and approach your characters with depth and intrigue, making the words your own. You will learn to use Stanislavski's method for approaching text and character, while also exploring activities from Adler, repetition from Meisner, and emotional memory from Strasberg.
Experience a fun and focused mix of improvisation and script work, guided by our experienced instructors. The course culminates with a casting director coming to watch what you've been working on and answer any questions you might have.

Practical Acting Pro
EVERY TUESDAY
from TUESDAY 19th SEPTEMBER
6:30pm - 8:30pm
until TUESDAY 5th DECEMBER
Designed for actors who want to shine on camera, our course focuses on developing your on-camera presence and confidence.
We'll teach you how to deal with the pressure on set, work with poorly written scripts, and make the most of even one or two lines. You'll also learn to set up self-tapes and direct your self-tape partner, while improving your eye-lines and working with a script in hand.
Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process of feeling comfortable and confident in front of the camera. And to top it off, we'll have a casting director come in to run a mock session with you and answer any questions you may have.

Our twelve week courses will take place at the prestigious Arts Ed Drama School in Chiswick, allowing you to immerse yourself in the world of acting in a world-class setting. HOW LONG ARE THE CLASSES?
Each class is 2 hours long - from 18:30-20:30 So we ask all participants to be prompt with their arrival.
DO YOU HAVE TO BE A PROFESSIONAL ACTOR TO ATTEND?
Practical Acting is geared towards everyone that wants to work on performance and the Screen & Self-Tape course is being aimed more towards working actors.
WHO TEACHES THE CLASS?
Dan Caren. Dan works as an agent at a boutique talent agency representing actors in television, film and theatre. He has been teaching for 20 years whilst working as an actor.
Dan received his BA (Hons) in Acting from Arts Ed, London.
HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE ON MY COURSE?
The course runs with a maximum of 20 people.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
Planned, focused and fun classes taught by a passionate experienced teacher focusing on acting and performance.
CAN I COME AND WATCH A CLASS?
Unfortunately not. We create safe spaces for actors to work together allowing themselves to take risks and in turn be vulnerable. So we don't allow observers.
